Ever since the mass media have announced the existence of the wicked economic world crisis, the rights of workers have diminished and deteriorated. All around the globe we're getting news about mass firing from many companies, big and small. The firings are being justified by the reduction of available work. In addition there's an annoyingly ...

It's weird how sometimes you can be taken by surprise when not delving deep enough when administering some software package. This can be particularly nasty when it's related to the security of the system.

Some days ago I was rather surprised when one of the developers at the work reported that permission grants he was ...

While trying to speed-up the site by turning on caching and some optimisations, I've ran into a problem with the Deco theme used on the site. Apparently, when CSS optimisation is turned on, it all gets messed-up (most notably the fonts don't look right). After checking out the Drupal site, I've ran ...

Well, after some work, I've rearranged the website and installed a rather good gallery web application from http://gallery.menalto.com/. In addition I've also integrated the Gallery2 into the main Drupal installation using the appropriate module, which can be found at http://drupal.org/project/gallery. Of course, some minor tweaks were made as well.

Not that it was ...

Well, I've finally got around to setting-up Drupal. Although Debian Lenny has the Drupal 6 package in its repos, I decided to go for the latest version available on the official site (6.13 at time of this writing). After spending some time tweaking Apache and issuing certificates for the whole web server, I've jumped onto ...
